Ingredients
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground fennel seeds
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
In a small bowl, mix all the spices together until evenly combined.
Store the blend in an airtight jar or container in a cool, dark place.
Use about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per serving to add flavor to your favorite reflux-friendly meals or drinks.
Uses
Oatmeal: Sprinkle a pinch on top for a warm, spiced breakfast.
Tea: Stir into hot water with a drizzle of honey for a soothing drink.
Roasted Vegetables: Toss veggies with a little olive oil and this spice blend before roasting.
Smoothies: Add a dash to your reflux-friendly smoothie for extra flavor.
